I was gonna go ask in JOS.

I noticed that the average was just outside of one standard deviation, so either everyone who was interested in taking the test was on-average smarter than the average, or they need to move the average. Maybe it was skewed because really dumb people couldn't use the internet or something.

I walked in at the end so I didn't end up taking it, but I've taken IQ tests before. I don't want to get into a penis-measuring match, so I'll refrain from answering.

Some of the questions seemed to add credence to the idea that these tests are culturally biased. Some of the famous quotes and phrases might not be familiar to someone from a different culture, for example.

Mark - Indeed this "test" is silly and culturally biased.    Possibly the cultural bias is desirable in this case in order to blunt the dominance of the high IQ people and to make viewers with pop culture knowledge feel better about themselves.

However, legitimate IQ tests are not culturally biased, and have not been for decades.

I think that guy over in JOS was right - you should immediately subtract 10 points just for watching the Fox network.

minus 10 points for that comment!  The Simpsons is one of the greatest TV shows in history.  Guess what?  It's on FOX.
