The Old New York, New York Forum - Old Post on Analytic Programming?

Old Post on Analytic Programming?

A few months ago I remember a post in this forum
asking people for advice on getting into the financial
services industry. I seem to recall the author mentioning
a book that inspired her/him into pursuing this field.

Now I'm contemplating such a move and am curious what
that book was. If I'm not imaging this.

Anyone recall? Admin, any chance there is an archive
of old posts?
