Roger vs. Pedro

Will Pedro leave the Bronx alive?  Over-under for first batter hit?  Over-under for number of fans/players/grounds keepers arrested?

Other thoughts?

Dear Grady,

Thanks for leaving Pedro in the game so long. Better luck next year.

Starting rotation for next year:

Manwhile, if the Sox want, they could bring back the whole team from last year.  Especially since all the important players are under contract: Pedro, Trot, Lowe, Wakefield, Williamson, Varitek, etc. etc.

Sorry to say losers, but, umm...the Sox have NEW owners.  And it starts at the top.

1st (partial) year as owners: 93 wins
2nd (full) year as owners: 95 wins, ALCS, a better team than the Yankees

What to fix?
New manager.  Check!
Sign a few complimentary players (core still in tact).  Check!
Kick the Yankees, aging, old, steriod abused team all over the place?  Coming Next!

It's too bad you live in the past.  I'm not sure if you understand ... let me reiterate:

I don't believe that you can lump the past failures of the past ownership with these new owners.

Oh, guess who owns the Red Sox?  John W Henry.

Guess which team he owned two years ago, right before he bought the Red Sox?  Florida Marlins

Guess who won the World Series?  Florida Marlins.

Guess who might have had their hand in developing that team?  John W Henry

See how that works?  New owners.

Oh, btw, the yankees season was a failure.  In case you forgot.  -- Courtesy of Mr. Intangibles Fist Pump
