How do you write look and feel spec? I read Joel's spec writing article over and over again, I picked up alot good pointer. I'm tasked to be part of look and feel overhaul for our software. There are some good discussions and some good ideas were to be implemented. Now I need to write up the document for those changes.

It's called a style guide, and usually graphics designers or ui designers do it.
You didn't mention the development language you're using, but in any case this is an example of the LAF spec for the Java LAF. It's fairly basic and I have seen more in-depth specifications but I'm guessing writing a style guide like that would take alot of effort.

I'd agree. Get a professional UI/Usability expert to do it (unless you know the domain _very_ well, for example if you are a developer writing a development tool, heck and maybe even then).
