Shyamalan is going to start the pre-production of his next film in August. "The Life Of Pi". This will be shot in Pondichery, India his birth place.

Its a book that, if I remember rightly, involves an open boat and some kind of large wild cat.  It won the Booker Prize around three years ago.

Yes. Life of Pi is a book. It'll be interesting to see what MNS (can't spell his name) does with someone else's work.
