Victor Image Processing - Experiences?

I'm just wondering if anyone's used the Victor Image Processing library? It seems to be pretty complete, although I am a bit surprised that they managed to squeeze all the standard image libraries into such a small DLL.

Also I'm a bit unclear on their 32-bit support .. they say they support reading in 32-bit PNG files (etc.), but then point out elsewhere that their internal DIB format is only 24-bit. Will have to fire off an email to them wrt that.

TIA for any advice.

I used them in Windows 3.1 & Borland C++ 3.1 days. Victor's phone technical support was very perfunctory - you were supposed to figure out calling conventions, etc. yourself when things don't work as expected. Somehow I never felt all that "supported".

Then there's the free Imagemagick imaging library with a large user base, which offers functionality at least comparable to Victor.

CXImage on codeproject ain't bad, and it's free

It's also easily hackable to do things the author never intended.
