Log Anaylser - any recommendation? Hi,
Colm Larkin
Check out 'awstats'. http://awstats.sourceforge.net/

I knocked my own one up in perl pretty easily once in an afternoon. You shouldn't have too much difficulty making your own in most languages.

AWStats: well it's certainly full featured enough - currently DL'ing and setting up. As is often the case with open source, its a bit hard to setup .. currently trawling through activestate.com looking for the free Perl interpreter :)

It's not that much of a pain though. Also once you have to configured, check out the add-ons. The one I found interesting and useful was to track the country of the visitor. I needed that information for a customer of ours. You will have to download the perl modules for them, though. But the documentation should step you through it.

For others' info, the windows Perl interpreter I got (free) from activestate.com is in a package called ActivePerl. Installed no problem.
