If you like Joel on Software, you will also like
Eric Sink's page http://software.ericsink.com/ and... ?
I have been looking (after having read all of Joel's articles a couple of times) for other pages that have more content like this, but I haven't found many yet.
What other websites are out there that provide good articles (or diaries - I love the CityDesk article series) on software development and everything that comes with it?
And please no 100% pure blogs that make me read 20 posts about the authors cats before I get to the meat. I want an "articles.html" that deserves it's name.

I liked dexterity.com/articles a lot, but once you listen to Brian Tracy's "Accelerated Learning" program, you notice that that's where he get 2/3 of his ideas from ;-)
He did study Computer Science and Mathematics in just three semesters, though, so he has quite a bit to say about motivation (like "Fire and Motion"? Go to dexterity.com!)

I am surprised that no one mentioned Chris Pratley's blog. He has amazing viewpoints to share from someone in MS Office team and his blog gets very interesting comments. [Obviously ignoring Slashdotters there..]

Chris' Pratley's weblog is a gem. I just wish he'd share his magic with us more often than he does.
I've always liked Wesner Moise's weblog:

And David Chappel's blog is pretty good:

And of course, there's my own blog - I think the author of THAT one is an outright genius. ;)

Boy, Dave Chappelle's blog just isn't that funny. I expected more after seeing his show on Comedy Central. I didn't know that he had such a serious side.

Joel on Software fans might also like the Heron-tricities blog at http://www.heron-language.com/blog.html . Trials, tribulations and observations of a lonely language designer.
