scripting languages IDE
This might be a stupid question.
I've written websites for a long time, and for the past several years have written the HTML and CSS in Dreamweaver. It color codes and tidies the code pretty well, and was everything I needed.
When I learned PHP and ASP, I also used Dreamweaver, which seems to work well. I'm starting to learn ASP.NET. However, I'm curious of there's anything I'm missing by using Dreamweaver as my IDE.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Visual Studio.Net will provide a lot of additional fuctionality for the code behind the ASP.Net pages (assuming you're going with split pages). I understand WebMatrix (which is free) has better support for inline code in ASP.Net
For design layout of the UI, stick with DreamWeaver.
