Company I'm working for is looking for intranet discussion board with ability to attach files. We need it for internal announcements.

I know, that there are some discussion boards available for free, so we don't want to start from scratch.

Could you point me in a right direction: PHP, ASP, ASPX, Linux, Windows - everything will do.

Its good, its simple, but we need to attach files and just can't be bothered doing any coding of our own.

We need something like vBulletin ( http://www.vbulletin.com/ ), for, say, nothing. :-)

phpbb doesn't include the ability to attach files.

At least, the default installation doesn't include that ability.

But you can install a hack that will make it work, and you can find that hack here:

WebWi allows file attachments. And avatars. And Private messaging. It's a HUGE enabler of screwing around at work. ;)

We should have been using Outlook Exchange Server - we have a full version of MS Office installed on every machine anyway, but our management doesn't want to spend a dime.

the feature will be mainly used by board of directors for public announcements. I'm investigating possibility of Dilbert avatars usage now. ;-)
