Help is updating to reflect your recent changes .

Don't you just LOVE this message in Visual Studio .NET . . . it usually takes around 15 minutes to complete and may as well read "now would be a good time to make a sandwich AND wash the car" . . .

The only time I ran into this was after I installed Reporting Services and Web Services Enhancements.

Considering that has only been twice since I installed Visual Studio a year ago, I don't think it's that big an issue.

I get that message *every* time I look at help.

Every, single, time.

I just use Google.

Surely you guys already searched Google Groups on the phrase and tried the suggestions and knowledge base articles referred to.

Didn't you?

I seem to get that every now and then, apparently at random. Frustratingly, it is when I haven't actually made any changes.

It only takes about a minute though, not 15, so I guess I should be grateful for that.

I must be a really shallow VS.NET user.  I've never gotten that.  I'm using VSN2003 and I installed MSDN Library from the stand  alone library CD, not the one in the VS.NET CDs.  I have no idea if that means anything or not.
