ASP.NET 2.0 I have been to MSDN site and I can't really figure this out, when is 2 coming out? When can we expect it to be stable (wait for a couple of years, don't use it before 2006?)? Are they going to "back port" the features added to ASP.NET 1.1?

I mean back port as in will you have access to ASP.NET 2.0 or the next version of .Net Framework if you aren't jumping on the Visual Studio.net 2005 bandwagon? If that's not possible, what do Visual Studio.Net 2003 people have to pay to get to 2005?

To be more specific, I've heard Q1 2005.

I have heard that in the past Microsoft eat their own dog food when it comes with asp 1-3 and asp.net 1-1.1. Can we expect the same thing from 2? Is 2 coming from a need from within the ranks of Microsoft? I'd like to continue hear these kinds of things because I'd like to know the features introduced by the MS team is actually scalable. Nothing would erk a webmaster more than to discover all of a sudden a feature upgrades lowers normal maximum concurrent web access.
