Bored and want to program something... I have a lot of free time lately and am interested in creating a new program, but can't think of anything to make. I've looked into the help wanted section of sourceforge and nothing sounds _too_ interesting. Most likely want to make a C++/MFC app but can't think of any ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions/advice to fill my programming urges...

Joe, email me, I have a lot of time on my hands too, maybe I can give a hand when you come up with something!

I second the NLP, but I'm not sure what the poster meant when he said ''adjusts itself dynamically''. Search for CMU's ''link grammar'' project.

Write a game. If you pick a simple enough concept, you can have something playable in a few days of effort.
