my boss is a @%$&* hole i worked graveyard 8hours m-f. i was scheduled to work a double shift. i was done with my regular shift at about 5:00am then was told by my supervisor that i could rest on the couch for alittle-bit so i could have energy for the next shift at 6:00am. i did what i was told, and a school director saw me resting on the couch. he told my ass-hole boss, and my boss punnished me by knocking my evaluation from exceeds to meets evaluation, plus he wrote me up. in return he gave my supervisor a exceeds from a meets evaluation for changing mine eval. i was devistated.. from this on my boss has been treating me very bad. he now has the whole day crew against me, by talking about me behind my back! I'am a supervisor now and he instagated a argument with me and the whole day crew, acussing me of looking threw a co-workers desk! i documented all that was said between myself and my coworkers, and my boss stated that maybe someting will be done and maybe not..

Wawawa, all bosses are dicks sometimes - it goes with the job. Granted, some are dickier that others, but at least you HAVE a boss...

Aww.
Yup.
Your boss is just worried because his best buddy didn't get re-elected (in the Indian elections.). Now he won't be getting any more of those kick-backs.
.
And you haven't told your boss to go fuck himself with a turkey carver why?! Grow a goddamned spine, don't whine to us about it.
Anon to protect the guilty

I thought in India only children worked the graveyard shift?!

Do you work in a NOC? Otherwise, stop complaining, if a developer is awake at 6:00 am its because he's been awake for over 20 hours straight :-P

Don't be hatin' on Ana!

I've heard that some overseas development shops have 2 shifts of developers.

Whatever
Something similar happened to me over 2 years ago. I worked for a famous e-commerce company and developers took it in turns to do certain routine chores. My manager decided to move over the rota for a certain activity from being a plain text file to a page on an internal Wiki site. In the process his name disappeared from the rota and I got scheduled to do it twice in the same month, when normally the duty would be much more spaced out.

Working the graves in a NOC... ahh the fond memories.
