Getting Email accounts from Outlook 2k->2k3

Microsoft in all of it's wisdom dropped support for the IAF file format in Outlook 2003.

How the hell do they expect you to go from 2000 to 2003?

Oh, I see.  They expect you to be using Exchange server.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Also, apparently I have a favorite email folder.  I did not know this but Outlook 2003 did.

Seems it's my Inbox.  Shocker.

What are IAF files?

One thing to bear in mind when you upgrade is that you will quite likely find that your rules doin't work. Same thing happens when you copy a .pst to another machine.

I presume the favourte folder is just another way of asking you which folder you wish to start in? The setting is there in Outlook 2000 but elsewhere.

Hmm, I haven't had the rules problem when I move .pst files. Oh well...

I was talking about moving the .pst files to another computer, not just changing the location for the same installation of Outlook.
