Zen is closer While reading about FrontRange Solutions' product Goldmine, hey, I just realized I have created something almost exactly identical (with some features such as Microsoft® Outlook® integration, Database Self-tuning and Management Capabilities, Web-enabled remote access etc. missing) in the last year. Now, that is one of the functions of an ERP software. That was back-breaking work, but then if I multiply that to, say, 12 times, that should be the size of the effort to create a low-end, poor performing ERP system that basically sucks, right?
Radio Button
Just shit in your hand, you're pretty close to being as useful as GoldMine.
Mr Jack
So if Radio Button does shit in his hand, Mr Jack, will you pay him/her a lot of money for the shit and use it in your company?
Wisea**
Radio button is a guy, because buttons are usually male. Never seen female buttons.
Radio Button
Well, I'd recommend my company replace GoldMine with it - and I'd expect my predictions of an increase in producivity following the replacement of GoldMine with Shit-in-the-hand to be rapidly met.
Mr Jack
Oh I'm so tempted to give a short lecture on buttons and their analogs in female anatomy.
Simon Lucy
Goldmine was the best Contact Manager I could find around 2001.
Mr. Analogy
It's not just Goldmine -- every email client, contact manager, PIM, and notes manager ever made sucks. Some of them come close, but none of them do it all correctly.
Troy King
Well-played, Mr Jack, well-played, indeed!
