Love reading stuff for kids

I was reading about some Accounting software when I wanted to find out what a Checking Account was. The terminology here is a little different. I'd heard the term a several times even in software texts (Dan Appleman's Moving to VB.NET also had an example I recall). I wanted to know if it is different from a savings bank account and if so, in what way. And why did they call it checking account. So I searched Google. I found a few pages. I read them. Understood. But the page I liked the best was this one.

This has got such a simple explanation. I always love to read stuff/tutorials for kids. Just a thought.

Of course, I like everyone of us in this community. Both, those who scorn at me or those who have kind words to say, I like them even-mindedly.

I think he may be trying to tell us that, sometimes, the only way you can learn about cultural assumptions is to get explanations by/for children.
Not sure if it is related to software though.
