JAVA EXE FILE

when we unzip any directory, file, the winzip.exe is called.

same kind of functionality can i do with java?

can i call any other exe file with the click on that compressed file/directory?

Yes. Look in the registry under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. You might want to try Google for more assistance.

Are you asking if you can open a .jar file with some kind of program or are you asking if you can make it so double-clicking on a java file will run it?  Or are you asking if you can make it so that double clicking a .zip file can cause a java program to run?
