IIS Question

I have a problem with IIS setting because all users accessing to the webpage (created using virtual directory) were asked with password, except when we use id with administrator rights.

I have used IISGuest in authentication method - anonymous access and tick and untick the Allow IIS to control password but to no avail.

What should I try ?

btw I used IIS 5.

find somebody who can setup that iis for you. however i would check the ntfs permission on files. it seems that only admin can get the files

blank is right. it's the NTFS permissions on the files.

1. Open Control pannel, admin tools, Internet Information Services.
2. Right-click the directory you want to allow permissions to
3. Shoose properties
4. Directory security tab
5. Anonymous access and authent control - choose Edit
6. Make sure anonymous access is the ONLY box checked.
7. Use Edit on anonymous access to set a user. Make sure the password is correct.
