Alt-tab order
I'm having some problems with the alt-tab task switcher for Windows XP and hoped someone here has seen a solution (or at least a tracked bug) for this.
When a window is minimized, it should be moved to the bottom of the tab-order, so that it is at the end of the list of available windows on alt-tab. For most applications, this is the case, but for some applications in my system they move to the second spot, so that <minimize>, <alt-tab> brings back the window I just minimized. Particular culprits are Outlook 2003 (almost always) and other Office 2003 apps (on occasion). I don't recall seeing other, non-Office apps do this, but I'm not sure I haven't either.
Has anyone got an explanation for this behaviour?
Thanks,

Thanks for the link. Wouldn't you know it I can't reproduce the problem right now, so I can't test the alt-esc solution. I've cross-posted the question there, though; we'll see what comes of it.

Hey I like the Alt-Esc! I have Outlook 2003 and it does that strange Alt-tab thing as well. The Alt-Esc doesn't restore the minimized windows.
