What happened to leisuretown.com?
A few years back Joel put up a link to www.leisuretown.com but now it's closed. Anyone know what happened?

It wasn't a dotcom or anything ... it was a guy doing comics.

No revenue, then ran out of cash is right:
http://www.leisuretown.com/donate.html
(the only page left - he says it costs money to do the site and he only gets a couple bucks a month in donations)
Also, he is planning on capitalizing on it by releasing it as a book and his legal consul has advised him to pull the material off the web so that people will have a reason to buy it:
http://www.720.st/mirrors/leisuretown/
There are archives of the material to be found in certain quarters but I ain1't saying where out of respect for the artist whose work I greatly admire. i plan to get the book if i ever see it - the material was absolutely hilarious dark humor, among the finest I've seen. Personally I think his lawyer is insane not to make use of the low cost advertising of the book that comes from the low-res web version.

I was sorry to see it go. I googled before posting here, but I was more interested to know what happened to Tristan and his ideas, rather than wanting to download from the site. His style of cartoons and sense of humour were brilliant and he deserves success.
