Development and Mood.
Important issues while doing development or any other task.
1. What do you do when you are not in 'mood'
2. What do you do when someone else, with 'whom you have to deal with' is not in 'mood'.
3. How do you recongize 1 and 2?

Self-employed answer: change your setting or schedule (take your laptop to local starbucks and work there a while)
Employed answer: ask your boss to help motivate you :-)

I find public libraries are good, not in the afternoons when they are full of school kids but earlier. Usually you can use a laptop, and if not, you can read specifications, manuals, or books.
Among fast food, Carl's Jr. is the most "adult friendly". They are quieter and the booths bigger. It is usually tolerable to sit there for an hour or so.
Text mode is viable, really it is!

According to point 1, the real Tapiwa is _always_ standing up (or at least not far off it).

I always have a list of 5 minute jobs to tackle when I want to not work on something important. After cleaning up a list of minor chores, my mood is usually back, and I haven't wasted the time just staring out the window.
