.NET to Java convertor

I just ran across this: http://www.halcyonsoft.com/products.asp?s=4

Apparently they've created a .NET IL to Java convertor. And priced it at $20,000. Seems like an ambitious undertaking, and I was surprised that no one ever mentioned it or compared it to the Mono project.

We have some hand-crafted technology to do this. Here is our method.

Write your .NET code.
Print it out.
Feed it into a blender with de-ionised water.
Paint the results on the wall.

Equally effective.

20K + 20K/year company wide licence sounds good if it all works, but 5K per CPU runtime licence for running the resulting programs? WTF?

If you wait long enough the source code will probably leak out onto the internet.
