I have a job offer from sapient corp doing dev work anybody have any idea how they are for working?

Where are you placed? I am in Delhi, India and I've had to convince the HRs there more than twice that talent was not to be ignored in favour of a degree. I got a mixed reaction from them. I applied to them more thrice and they didn't want to entertain a profile without a degree, so I had to talk my way through to the HR. While they agreed with all that I said, there wasn't much they could do. I stopped applying to them. This was a 18 months ago.

They're basically a the-elephant-can't-dance kind of an organization with all the frills - process, documentation, formality etc.

One Project Manager in my organization had left Sapient to join us. I might be mistaken, but he was not very bright. He left us too in 2 months or less.

I hold no judgement over all these facts as in I don't have an opinion strong enough to influence anyone's decision. I think there are some nice, sensible looking people also working there.

Back in 1999 when graduating from college I considered them, but they were hiring for their HQ in Dallas, and I really didn't want to live there. Probably if I had taken that job I would have been fired and replaced by someone in Dehli, who if Sathyaish's experience is any indicator, wouldn't even be very good.
