Visual Basic text control with tables

Does anyone know of a rich text widget that supports tables and images for Visual Basic?  Alternatively, what references will help in implementing such a control?  Thanks for any help.

Invert it.  You need to have the column of a grid control support rich text, in VFP and I think Delphi you can replace the control used in any particular column.

Reminder to oneself when getting up early wake brain at the same time.

You want to display tabular information inside a single text control.  There's the TX control http://www.textcontrol.com/tx/features/overview_activex/?tx=1&query=rich
that seems to have all the features you want.

How about using HTML instead of RTF?

You could use either the IE Webbrowser control (free, but requires IE)  or use an HTML control:

You can either look at widgets that handle RTF, either the native one from MS (I think the latest version is actually called msftedit.dll, is version 4.1, and comes with XP), or those that let you edit HTML.

For the latter, there's Namo's ActiveSquare (http://www.namo.com/products/activesquare/), I think someone in the Mozilla team is trying to write Composer as an ActiveX control too, and there's also the under-development HtmEdit http://www.terrainformatica.com/htmeditor/
