Representing Java Object in Visio UML...

Anyone know of a plugin or something that would let me do this?  I don't understand why Visio doesn't let your return types by editable. :(

Visio UML?  No offense, but I'd sooner do UML with an abacus than in Visio.  Five mouseclicks, at least, for any operation, no matter how trivial/common.

Of course UML is vastly overrated anyway.

My 2c, probably not worth even that because it's getting late and I'm tired.  And a bit grumpy.

I recomend using Pavel Hruby's  Visio Stencil.

Just a diagraming tool....

As would I.  But I'm working with someone who only has Visio.  *sigh*

Thanks for the link! Hopefully this eases the pain.

UML is overrated?  How do you figure?  Isn't it just a unification of earlier object modelling diagrams?  I've never heard anyone claim that UML can solve all your problems in the same way that RUP, J2EE and SOA salesman claim.

Modeling fads come and go.  Some people take the approach that with the "correct" model, the code will practically write itself.  UML represents the latest "magic bullet" in modeling for these people.  Like any other tool, use it where applicable to the extent that it makes sense.
