for  company which are wholesalers and starts

can't think of books of the top of my head, but you might want to look at case studies.

There is a book we used at university... marketing success stories.

Most classes in Production and Organisational Management will have reading lists which are quite what you are looking for.

The top business schools too will have case studies that might be of interest.

Top management consultancies too will have stories, (McKinsey, Booze Hamilton, etc) that you would be interested in.

Google is your friend.
