How do google searches work?. Manipulated?

Searching for "moron", "deserter", "idiot","chimpanzee" or
"stupid" will lead invariably to sites with a particular political personality (name censored) on them. Someone told me that Google searches can be manipulated to get results like these. Does someone have a clue on how it can be done?. I recently read about someone who got google to lead to his site on typing "KPMG idiots".

Its done through cooperation with other people/websites, not through the api.

you'll have to persuade some people to work with you :)

you just create an URL on your website that looks like

< a href = " http://www.whitehouse.gov " > WEAPONS OF ASS DESTRUCTION < / a>

have google index your site, then have a bunch of other people do the same thing.
