cdburn.exe

I'm using 2003 Server.  When I attempt to burn an ISO using cdburn, I receive this error:
"Unable to lock the volume for exclusive access 5"

This happens with different ISO's.  I have used cdburn successfully in the past, just not in a few months.    Any ideas?

I use ISORecorder, which leverages the built-in burning functionality in Windows XP and Windows 2003. It works like a champ, although you have to be an admin to use it.

Buy a really good software: Ahead Nero! :)

It's really fantastic.

I installed Ahead Nero, and apparently it wouldn't let cdburn.exe lock the drive.  Does that make sense?  Is there some way I can use both Nero and cdburn.exe?  Maybe I need to disable some kind of service to use cdburn.  *shrug*

Brad - I'm wary to use the ISO recorder you suggested.  If it uses cdburn.exe, and I have a problem with cdburn.exe, won't my problem go unresolved?

I've never heard of cdburn.exe. That ISO recorder I pointed you to directly uses the IMAPI CD Burning service on XP.

I'm sorry.  cdburn comes with the Windows Resource kit for 2003.  The utilities can be used on XP as well, and I misread the documentation for CreateCD - I thought he was providing a GUI for cdburn.

I will give it a try.
