Best email/newsgroup sig ever

Back in the good old days, before the lawyers came in with their disclaimers and legalese, people had cool email and newsgroup sigs.

Mine used to be

He who has an opinion of his own, but depends on the opinions and tastes of others, is a slave.
-- Klopstock

Someone just sent me an email with a really funny sig.

Never hold your farts in. They travel up your spine, into your brain, and that's where you get shitty ideas from.

Anyone out there still uses funny sigs?? Any favourites

I used to use: Freedom  is the right to say "I Won't"

- which idea I took from a short story by Eric Frank Russell called "And Then There Were None" which is (legitimately) available on the Web at:

http://www.abelard.org/e-f-russell.htm

Here's a few more:

Worry is a circle of inefficient thought pivotting on a base of fear

Lego bricks need you - join us today

"Never argue with an idiot, they only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience"

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day.
Give a man religion and he'll starve to death whilst praying for a fish.

And finally, the old classic:

Men are apt to mistake the strength of their feeling for the strength of
their argument. The heated mind resents the chill touch and relentless
scrutiny of logic.

  ~William E Gladstone~

There are two ways of constructing a software design; one way is to
make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the
other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious
deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult.
    - C. A. R. Hoare

and one of my favorites:

Nothing in the world can take place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

"At the screech of the eagle, I declare, the common folk immediately tremble, the senate huddles together, the nobles become servile, judges become obsequious, theologians are silent, lawyers assent, laws give way, and established custom yields: nothing can stand against it, not right, not duty, not justice, not humanity." One /. sig said:

"Click this link to read about the NT4 server that has been running continuously for the past year-and-a-half!"

Curious as always, I clicked the link and was taken to a web page with a dancing server graphic accompanied to a chorus singing:

"YOU ARE AN IDIOT.  YOU ARE AN IDIOT.  YOU ARE AN IDIOT.  YOU ARE AN IDIOT.  YOU ARE AN IDIOT.  YOU ARE AN IDIOT."

Of course my sound was on,  I was at work, everybody looked, I scrambed for the volume control.  But it was a cute joke.

I have begun on a work which is without precedent, whose accomplishment will have no imitator.  I propose to set before my fellow-mortals a man  in all the touch of nature; and this man shall be myself.  I have studied mankind an know my heart; I am not made like any one I have been acquainted with, perhaps like no on in existence; if not better, I at least claim originality, and whether Nature has acted rightly or wrongly in destroying the mold in which she cast me, can only be decided after I have been read.
