Does .Net Have

A mascot as adorable as Duke ( )?

"Duke does like coffee, Duke Ellington, John Wayne, elegant code, and naps." The naps could explain Java's perceived performance problems. :)

And does that Linux Penguin have a name?

Duke would have to be quite literally the last name I would have applied to that little blob character. Maybe "Pip" or "Yentle", but "Duke"?

In my opinion the BSD daemon (does he have a name?) is by far the best mascot of all time. And the GNU mascot (whatever that thing is) is the worst.

The BSD daemon... the end of a spiel on that page, he says "beastie" if you need to put a name to him. And he is the coolest mascot. Thought of ditching linux for BSD a few times because of him.
