Taken straight from Joel's articles, apparently. :)

The opening line may have been taken from Joel, but the rest of the comic seemed to me to be pretty weak.

We get Dilbert every day in the "Arab News", and when I saw that one today I immediately thought of Joel's article.

Incidentally according to Michael Moore (hardly the most reliable of sources) the British CEO gets twenty-five times the salary of the blue collar worker in his firm (the highest differential in Europe); the American CEO gets 411 times the blue collar workers salary.

>> the American CEO gets 411 times the blue collar workers salary.

That's because the American CEO is so morally superior to the working flunky. I think you Brits could learn a lesson, there...

Bill Gates: "People are ants!"
Quoted in "Family Guy" :)))

A few years ago the company I was with at the time relocated its main office to the new CEO's hometown.

The CEO resigned not long ago (or perhaps was pushed out, due to the loss of over 90% of the stock's value and failure to turn a profit during his tenure), and they have now relocated back to where they were before.
