Java and Oracle interview

I'm giving an interview for a programmer position with Java and Oracle, I'm interested in how much Oracle will they ask in the interview.

The first thing in any "Oracle" job is to find out what Oracle they want. RDBMS? Forms/Reports? Apps?

It's not specified in the posting, which is weird

It's not weird ... it's obviously a development job that's using java to access the oracle rdbms via jdbc or ejbs or jdo or whatever ... it's very normal.

I want to find out if it's EJB's they are using or just plain servlets

(1) It could be neither - Oracle is slowly replacing PL/SQL in the database with Java - and someone in marketing has picked up on this

(2) Why not ring up and ask someone?

It's a recruiter and they have no clue ...

Pretend to be with some technical magazine publisher and say you're doing a survey on job skills in demand.
