Brad, it may be a step up for other people, too. :)

For example, Delphi 8 .NET may provide a decent WinForms database grid, which Visual Studio .NET doesn't provide.

Delphi 8 .NET will be released soon - in January, it will be out in the market.

If they will provide bug-free WinForms components instead of the ones provided by VS .NET, which contain "lots of major bugs everywhere", then I shall buy it no matter what the cost is.
