PayPal-like system to organize donations in Europe

I went through the few discussions that have been held here, along with some articles on the Web... but can't seem to find the answer to my problem.

A friend of mine is currently hosting his web site on a free hoster, but since performance is pathetic, he'd like to move it to a paying hoster.

So... what would be the best way to have users pinch in Ideally,

- this account would have low overheard (we're talking a donation of a few hundred E's, here)

- transactions are done in Europe to avoid the $/€ risk of change and overhead

- making a donation would only involve clicking on an icon on the home page, give name + credit card #, and voilà! :-)
