It's not about learning. It's, does FogCreek Software hire technical college employees.

Do you think the software FogCreek produces takes Yale graduates to make? I don't.

I think it would perfectly feasible for FogCreek to hire a Tech School graduate.

... there are only two criteria for working at FogCreek:

1) You're smart;
2) You get things done.

From reading other articles, other criteria include being a "superstar", not just a "great" programmer.

Now, I'm sure there could be some superstar programmers that are fresh out of school with no real-life experience, and I doubt they specifically exclude tech school grads.
