Six Apart hiring

Six Apart, another small company with CMS products (ala FogCreek and CityDesk) is now hiring.....

"Six Apart (http://www.sixapart.com/), the company behind the Movable Type and TypePad weblogging systems/services, is growing and we're looking for a Perl programmer to work on both products. "

It is interesting how the spec for the tech person lists skills requirements, while the admin role lists both skills and minimum 3yrs experience. Is time in the trenches the only way to prove your admin experience?

You can get a job as an executive assistant by having an MCSE?

It's about the only thing a lot of MCSE's are qualified to do...

Why is Six Apartment's job postings becoming a thread on JOS? Nothing better to talk about?

"Why is Six Apartment's job postings becoming a thread on JOS"

It is SixApart!

I think it is interesting to contrast the hiring practices of SixApart, and FogCreek. Both are small companies in some ways or another flogging a CMS product.

>I have an MCSE + I and I work at the Burger King

Nonsense.  You're a Customer Care Analyst at a Fortune 500 company responsible for over 1 billion electronic transactions per year.
