VBAPI site by Paul Kimmel

Any one of you been to that site on Win32 API hosted by Paul Kimmel around 3 years ago? It was then bought over by VB World guys and then it finally went into the trash. I hear he's back again. Anyone been there lately? Please give me the URL if you have it.

There's a web page called "Google":

http://www.google.com/

This web page is what is known as a "search engine". A "search engine" stores words from web pages that it has looked at (it kind of starts somewhere, follows links and saves the pages it sees). This means you can type some words in, and it will tell you which web pages contain those words.

If you do a search on this Google thing for, say, "Paul Kimmel Win32 API", you will find that there is a guy called Paul Kimmel talking about Dot Net and Visual Basic Dot Net on some web page somewhere. His last article was 26th of September 2003 (Xian calendar).

Hope this is of some help. I use Google all the time -- it's great when you don't know the URL of what you're looking for, just some words that might appear in its text. There are other "search engines" out there, but Google appears to be the best.

Oh, it just occurred to me, they don't state the calendar system. This article could be several thousand years old; I don't do Dot Net so I couldn't tell you from the code.

That site was earlier called vbapi.com but its now very difficult to find. I'd landed on it sometime ago, bookmarked it into my favourites but my system crashed and eventually had to be re-installed and I lost the link.

Thanks for the advise about Google. You made my life so simple with that. I never knew what Google was until you told me.
