Installer with Oracle client

Hi all,

i am looking for an installer for my software which can also install an Oracle-client.


anyone have recommendations?

Most if not all the installers around are basically ways of organising scripts.  So depending on your target platform you might as well go with the most popular that's available.

Good frigging luck.

Oracle Installer == major P.I.T.A.

It's a Java-based installer.  It ships with its own JRE to run the installer.

I know, it sucks a$$.... currently a runtime installation for Oracle 9i client is about 139 mb. compared to our 70mb app.... it's ridiculous
