Sir Bill Gates

I hear Bill Gates is going to get an honourary knighthood (KBE) for outstanding contribution to business.

How about Sir Joel ?

Not only that but Ricky Gervais is going to be making a series of 'Office' videos for internal management training at Microsoft.

One would hope in the spirit of what not to do.

How much of a discount do you think Gordon Brown will expect for it, when they meet this morning?  What do you reckon - "Well make it 70% off and we'll throw in a peerage"  ?

Sorry, I'm just far too cynic before coffee.  I suppose I never could get the hang of Mondays.

He's not going to be "Sir Bill".

Mucky foreigners don't get to use the "sir".

No - a few hours & some coffee later and I still wonder if it has anything to do with the meeting between Gates, Brown (who holds the purse-strings) and the guy from the OGC who recommends what software government should use.  Couldn't have...obviously.
