Godsdammit Joel, I wish you weren't ethical and honest and all that stuff, cos I REALLY wish I could see some of the resumes in your "Bad" pile.  I'm a far worse language snob than you: I would never bother to justify ignoring a resume with mis-spaced commas, I'd just hit the Del key without a word.

Now I think of it, I'd love to see some of the winners, too.  I wonder what kind of resume you do like.  I suspect the difference between you and me is the difference between a New Yorker and an Australian: I'd very likely wince at the sort of self-promotion that you consider perfectly normal.  That's just a cultural difference, not an important one.  Care to give us some extracts, suitably obfuscated?
