Microsoft SPOT Watches

Has anyone tried these yet? I just bought one. I don't know how useful it is yet, but it's kind of cool.
I do think there is some potential if Microsoft lets third-party developers to develop for this platform.
Thoughts?

Most of us probably not budge until something like big blue's Linux Watch comes around, and besides phones work well as watches and some of they now have Linux or Java.

Personally, apart from the "early adopter, must buy cool stuff" thing, I don't think we're the ideal market for these watches.

The watch doesn't give you anything you can't get from the box in front of you right now.

The people that will really benefit from them are people who aren't connected all the time - traditional consultants, managers, salesmen, teachers, etc, etc, etc.

Of course, you young'uns that have lives may want to push for "bar hopping status reports" - then it would be a must-have... [grin]
