Great UI at Mailinator ?
I'm not questioning the useful functionality or simplicity of use of mailinator, it's a great idea, but the pale grey font for the input boxes and much of the other body text is NOT great UI design, it is a virtually unreadable disaster - and my eyesight is more than adequate for most web based tasks...
That's great, but what is Mailinator?
Check out www.joelonsoftware.com - new mention on the home page !
I have to agree on that font color. And the sizes are hard-coded, too.
I can barely even tell what the site does even after reading Joel's blurb and visiting their web page... You can create any e-mail address there and then check it? And so can anyone else?
Talk about great gui, a nice hot chick on the about page. Maybe that's what our gui's need.
She actually kind of scares me.
"That's the appeal"
You guys must be desparate?
Dude... see my last post in the "What is a Troll?" thread.
Disparate maybe, but desperate?
Hmm. Yeah. And Suzi Quattro.
I'd go with Betty, but I'd be thinking of Wilma.

I think the great UI is referring to the fact that you don't need to sign up. It's not about the design of the website.
