Reading Web Archive (.mht) Files

I often use IE's "Save As ... Web Archive" feature to save copies of web pages of interest in a single .mht file for subsequent offline viewing.

Recently, I have configured my PC to dual boot both Windows XP and Linux but have yet to find a browser under Linux that can render the .mht files (I've tried recent versions of both Mozilla and Konqueror).

Is anyone here aware of a Linux-based browser/viewer that allows .mht web archive files to be displayed?

Thanks in advance!

They are MIME encoded as multipart messages, so maybe there is a MIME reader or email client on Linux that can read them? But I wouldn't know.... I use IE :)

Maybe this might help....

You can open the .mht files in Mozilla or Netscape. Since both are available in Liux it should not be a problem.

You cannot save web pages as .mht files using Netscape or Mozilla
