Age/Years in software development ratio
Gumption leak of the day posting.
30/20, 30/15 if you count when I first got paid for something I did.
Hmm. The actual ratio appears to be around 2 for most people here (that is, 50% of your life has been spent as a coder). Mine is 1.9 for paid work, and 1.5 for "just fooling around" (yes, 68% of my life to date).
27 / 5
38/2, for a ratio of 19.
28 / 8
48 / 21 getting paid for it
24/5 - 3 yrs getting paid for it ;)
29 / 2 years professional (21 for pleasure)
48/15 And love everyminute of it.. Left South Africa 6 months ago, now in the UK.

29/18. Something like that.
40/15 and I'm not talking about tennis.
Oh and at 40/15, I'm hoping it will be game, set and match quite soon. i.e I'm getting sick of it and want to earn less and enjoy more.
41/15 employed, or 41/18 if you count academic research.
26 / 16 since "hello world".
