need recommendations on training resources

I wonder if you guys could recommend some good training providers for topics around "techniques for approaching technical problems from a data side and a software development side."  I need some on-site training for about 20 people.
Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by "Data"?  HTML, XML, Test, CSV, or Databases?

If it's ASCII-Ish, I'd recommend Perl.  (Oh, I teach Perl btw.)

If it's SW-Dev, what's the language?

Give some more details, I can come up with something better.

Not knowing the specifics of what you need, but knowing that you want "techniques for approaching technical problems from ... a software development side" then perhaps you want a company like NetObjectives - - to help you out.

I've not been to any of their courses, but assuming that their training is as clear as "Design Patterns Explained" (CEO Alan Shalloway co-authoured this book, and it's excellent - very clear) then I think they would do a very good job.
