Deploying my .net widows forms app
Well, 'deploying' may be a stretch, I only have one user.
Anyway, I built a tiny little app that runs some reports. You select a few parameters from some list boxes, and select a directory to dump the reports into. It goes to the database and builds the reports.
It works fine on my machine, of course. Or I wouldn't try to run it on her machine. The security settings aren't the problem - everything is configured properly.
But the list boxes (and one drop down list) appear to be empty. I just have them filled using the items property. Nothing fancy at all.
If I click the browse button (which launches a standard dialog to select the directory to dump the reports to), then exit the dialog (either by selecting a directory or cancelling), I can click in the list box to reveal each item one by one.
I tried on another machine, and I get the same results.

Do you have any exception handling in your code?

Yes, but not for populating those listboxes. The listboxes are filled with a static list that I created in the property editor. There is nothing fancy going on here, it's a very quick and dirty in-house application.
