O/R Mappers

Hey all,

I'm just wondering what some of you are using as your O/R mapper in .NET today?  We have evaluated both Sisyphus and EntityBroker so far.

It looks like EntityBroker is our best bet, but I'd like to get anyone else's opinion that has actually used a particular framework in the real world.

I'm not interested in DAL generation tools; I want a true object/data persistence framework.  I could wait for ObjectSpaces -- but I need this today :)

Yeah, I've reached the conclusion that I'll pretty much have to do the same.  Some seemingly obvious features that are essential just aren't in the ones I've found so far.

Thanks though.

You might want to check:

The NEO project (developed by a very prestigious firm).

There is another Bamboo Prevelance and other open source ORM, but I suggest using Strongly Typed Datasets. Althought you'll write more in terms of persistence, you won't have to worry about data binding etc.

You might also check the DotNetPersistence and ObjectSpaces MSN groups.

Just my 2 cents,
