What is your opinion on the books by Amit Kalani?
I have read the official MS Press C# Windows certification book. It is, in my opinion, extremely poorly written. :-(
I'm not interested in memorizing something to get my certifications. I think this is idiotic and useless.
However, I'm very interested in really learning and understanding the new concepts completely, and after that getting my certifications.
So, my conclusion is that I must get some alternative certification books for .NET and C#.
Do you know some good alternative certification books for the MCAD for .NET certification?
What is your opinion on the following books by Amit Kalani? Are they good for understanding things?
MCAD/MCSD Training Guide (70-316): Developing and Implementing Windows-Based Applications with Visual C# and Visual Studio.NET
MCAD/MCSD Training Guide (70-315): Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Visual C# and Visual Studio.NET
