the workflow logic in fogbugz: closing cases

Evaluating fogbugz....

A workflow issue:

From Joel:
Remember that the only person who can close a bug is the person who opened it in the first place. Anyone can resolve it, but only the person who saw the bug can really be sure that what they saw is fixed.

Can this be set as an OPTION (item by item) in fogbugz?

For example, our tech support staff are one of the main entry points into bug tracking.  Some items are 'hot' and they want control over them.  But most items they just want to hand off.

Fogbugz is great because they can subscribe for emails, or search the system.  But if by entering the bug they automatically OWN it all the way, it kind of screws us up.

Yep, we don't have any 'requirements' in fogbugz.  Even though when you resolve a case it gets assigned back to the opener, *anyone* can realistically close the case.

OK, I guess I misunderstood.  If anyone can close, that works for me / us!
